Day 1: Colombo: CJ Travels will organise a transfer from the airport to your chosen hotel where you will begin your holiday to Sri Lanka. In the Afternoon you may commence a sightseeing tour of the city of Colombo. Drive through the commercial and city centre area known as the “Fort”, built by the Portuguese in the 16th century where grand colonial era buildings stand alongside modern office structures. See the busy markets and noisy bazaars of Pettah. Spend the night at a hotel in Colombo.

Day 2: Kandy : After breakfast at the hotel leave for Kandy. En route visit the Peradeniya Botanical Gardens where you can see a rare collection of tropical exotic and indigenous flora including the famous Orchid House. You may then wish to drive along the upper lake road to get a panoramic view of the Kandy Lake. It is famous for the pink painted Temple of the Tooth which houses the most sacred religious relic, the tooth of the Buddha, the Kandy Lake built in 1807 which is an attractive centrepiece to the town and the Peradeniya Botanical Gardens. On arrival in Kandy, check in at the hotel. In the evening, you can visit the Temple of Tooth relic. Thereafter, enjoy the Kandyan Cultural show at the Kandyan Arts & Cultural Centre. The show features the graceful and rhythmic dancers and drummers culminating in an impressive fire walking display. Spend the night at a hotel in Kandy.

Day 3: Pinnawela / Bentota: After breakfast, choose to leave for Pinnawala and visit the Elephant orphanage. Witness the feeding of the elephants. The baby elephants being bottle fed with milk is a heart-warming sight. Thereafter observe them as they take their daily bath in the river nearby, which affords marvellous photo opportunities. Bath time is enjoyed by all elephants, young and old alike and it is a good time to closely observe their tightly knit family structure. Later, leave for Bentota. Overnight at a hotel in Bentota .

Day 4 & Day 5: Bentota Relax At Beach: After breakfast at the hotel spend the days leisurely on the beach. Bentota is a tourist resort in the south with the most beautiful, wide and sandy beaches. Spend the night at a hotel in Bentota .

Day 6: Departure : After breakfast leave for the Airport for your departure flight.
